We are so pleased to announce that Emily Luo is the recipient of the John W. Sawyer Award for Computer Science for 2019/20. Established in 1993 in honor of Dr. Jack Sawyer, professor of Mathematics from 1956 to 1988 and the first computer science instructor at Wake Forest, the prize is awarded each year to the most outstanding graduating student in computer science as selected by the faculty. This is a significant honor and testament to Emily’s hard work and commitment to her education and to the Computer Science Department. Congratulations Emily!
