CS Seminar on October 9th, 2023

Our upcoming seminar is scheduled for Monday, October 9th 2023 at 4pm in Manchester Hall 024 by Ron Doyle, Wright Presidential Chair of Computer Science and Entrepreneurship on Title “Cloud Computing Platforms and Services”.

This seminar will introduce the fundamental technology underlying public and private clouds, explain the three major cloud service layers (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) and survey today’s major public cloud providers. We will examine the services in the major cloud providers that enable application development, control and exploitation of data and cloud observability.

This is the second in a series of three fall seminars to be hosted by Dr. Ron Doyle, Katherine and Dickerson Wright Presidential Chair in Computer Science and Entrepreneurship.
