CS Seminar on October 7th at 4:00 PM in Manchester 024

Join us on Monday, October 7th at 4:00 PM in Manc 024 for a seminar talk by Dr. Ron Doyle titled “Cloud Computing: Platforms and Services”.

This seminar will introduce the fundamental technology underlying public and private clouds, explain the three major cloud service layers (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) and survey today’s major public cloud providers.    We will examine the services in the major cloud providers that enable application development,  control and exploitation of data and cloud observability.
