Abstract: To share his career path and process for starting a business, his experiences like working in big tech, at startups, going through the Salesforce acquisition, and then fundraising/starting Ciridae

Bio: Jack Weissenberger, a 2019 graduate of Wake Forest University with a BS in Computer Science and Physics, will share his unique career trajectory and the process for founding Ciridae, a generative AI services firm dedicated to guiding businesses through their AI transformation.

He began his career in 2019 as a Software Engineer at Capital One, quickly contributing to the bank’s machine learning (ML) platform, focusing on ML research, and specializing in graph methods. From February 2021 to October 2022, he worked at Apple where he notably led the company’s first generative AI deployment for customer support.

Following his time at Apple, Jack joined Tenyx (acquired by Salesforce), where he architected and built the company’s end-to-end ML systems for automating contact-center operations. Post-acquisition, he became one of Salesforce’s youngest Principal Machine Learning Engineers.

Now, as the founder of Ciridae, Jack drives end-to-end AI transformation—bridging strategy, robust data foundations, and production engineering to deliver reliable, scalable generative AI systems in the real world.

All are welcome!
