Join us Monday, October 27 at 4:00 PM in Manc 024! Dr. Ron Doyle will be sharing his insights on From Infrastructure to Intelligence: The Evolution of Cloud Systems in the Age of AI.

This seminar will introduce the fundamental technology underlying public and private clouds, examine Cloud AI hardware (GPU/TPU/custom ASICs), explain cloud service layers and survey today’s major public cloud providers. We will examine the services in the major cloud providers that enable application development, control and exploitation of data and cloud observability. The intended audience for this seminar is students (undergraduate or graduate) with majors or minors in computer science.

This is the second in a series of three fall seminars to be hosted by Dr. Ron Doyle, Katherine and Dickerson Wright Presidential Chair in Computer Science and Entrepreneurship
