Welcome Prof. Alex Hicks!

We are excited to announce that Prof. Alex Hicks will be joining our WFU Computer Science department as an Instructor starting in July 2026. His research focuses on computer science education, with an emphasis on help-seeking behavior, software testing, and automated feedback systems that support student learning.

Alex will receive his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
